BRISTOL, Pa. (Thursday, Sept. 18) — Firefighters from the Bristol Borough Fire Association joined mutual aid companies early Wednesday morning at a multi-alarm fire in Newportville, officials said.
Engine 50 responded on the initial box assignment, while Quint 51 was dispatched on the second alarm. Crews encountered heavy fire conditions on the second and third floors with flames extending into the attic.
BBFA members operated for nearly two hours, assisting with fireground tasks before returning to service.
