On September 24th at 8:25 am the Emmaus, Vera Cruz, Western Salisbury, and Lower Macungie fire departments and Emmaus EMS were dispatched for a dwelling fire at 824 Franklin st. in the borough of Emmaus. The caller stated there was smoke in the dwelling, Engine 7 and chief 7 arrived on the scene and had nothing showing, After an investigation it was found that a plug strip had failed.
