Nashua Firefighters Battle Basement Fire on Barnesdale Road

Nashua firefighters were dispatched to a building fire on Barnesdale Road in the afternoon on September 21, 2026. EMS Captain Tim Farrar arrived first and found smoke showing from a single-story, ranch-style home.
Other companies arrived on scene shortly after and discovered a fire in the basement of the home. Crews stretched two handlines to extinguish the fire, while two truck companies opened up and checked for extension.
The fire was brought under control in a short amount of time.
