Whately, MA — September 4 — The Whately Fire Department responded on Friday morning to a motor vehicle crash on the northbound lanes of Interstate 91.A vehicle had left the roadway and came to rest in the median.
Firefighters arrived at the scene and worked alongside other emergency responders to evaluate the situation and ensure the area was secure.
The vehicle was discovered overturned in a wooded area off the northbound lanes, as captured in photographs from the scene.
The crash took place on a section of I-91 that passes through Whately and serves as a key north-south route in western Massachusetts.
