In the early morning hours of Saturday, September 13, emergency responders from Country Hills Volunteer Fire Company, Bradley Gardens Volunteer Fire Company, Bradley Gardens Rescue Squad, and the Bridgewater Police Department – NJ were dispatched to Route 202 South near Verizon Wireless for a motor vehicle accident.

Crews arrived to find a single vehicle with significant front-end damage off the roadway in the grass and a severed utility pole in front of the Olive Garden. The vehicle’s sole occupant had exited safely and was uninjured. Firefighters secured the vehicle and confirmed there were no additional fluid spills or hazards.

The southbound lanes of Route 202 remained closed through midday Saturday as utility crews worked to replace the damaged pole.
