BEAVER FALLS, Pa. (Friday, Sept. 5) — Chippewa Township Volunteer Fire Department provided manpower this week to several neighboring fire companies through the Beaver County Strike Team.
On Wednesday, Chippewa members assisted Center Township firefighters at a residential structure fire. The following day, they supported Daugherty Township crews during another fire call.
While clearing from Daugherty, Chippewa personnel responded to Aliquippa, where firefighters battled a commercial blaze involving three connected buildings.
Officials said Chippewa maintained coverage in its own township throughout the mutual aid responses. The Beaver County Strike Team allows departments to quickly share resources, ensuring adequate staffing at structure fires across the county.
