Multi-vehicle crash slows Route 51 traffic in Chippewa Township

CHIPPEWA TOWNSHIP, Pa. (Friday, Sept. 5) — Firefighters responded Friday afternoon to a three-vehicle crash on Route 51 southbound near Emmett Drive, officials said.
Station 22 was dispatched just before 4:30 p.m. Rescue 22, the deputy chief, Chippewa Fire Police and township police were on scene. Two of the vehicles were towed by Sulli’s Towing.
No injuries were reported. Firefighters assisted with debris cleanup and traffic control. The Chippewa police department is investigating.
