CENTER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (Tuesday, Sept. 2) — Beaver Falls firefighters responded Tuesday afternoon as part of the Beaver County Strike Team to a building fire in Center Township, officials said.

Crews arrived to find heavy fire in the attic of a single-family home. Squad 11 members assisted with suppression efforts in the attic space and operated for about an hour before being released.

No injuries were reported. While crews worked at the fire, additional units from Patterson Heights, Big Beaver Borough, Patterson Township and North Sewickley covered the city of Beaver Falls.
