Mutual aid crews battle structure fire in Distant

DISTANT, Pa. (Wednesday, Sept. 17) — Firefighters from across the region responded to a structure fire in Distant on Wednesday, officials said.
Departments assisting included New Bethlehem, Hawthorne, Limestone, Rimersburg, Sligo, Dayton, Pine Township/Templeton, Kittanning No. 6, Rayburn, Kittanning Township, Summerville and Ringgold. Clarion EMS Station 4 also responded.
The Distant Area Volunteer Fire Department thanked all mutual aid partners for their support and expressed appreciation to community members who donated drinks and supplies at the scene.
