WHITEHALL, Pa. (Saturday, Sept. 6) — Firefighters from Station 38 and DC 35-1 spent Saturday at several community events before ending the day with a call for an animal rescue.
The morning began with breakfast at Faith Lutheran Church, followed by an appearance at the Community Bank grand opening, where members met Pro Football Hall of Famer Brian Dawkins and football player Kyle McCord.
Later in the afternoon, crews responded to a storm drain rescue and worked to safely free a cat.
