Swissvale firefighters test more than 10,000 feet of hose

SWISSVALE, Pa. (Friday, Sept. 19) — Swissvale Fire Department completed its annual hose testing this week, inspecting 10,010 feet of hose to ensure it is ready for service.
Each year, firefighters pressure test every section of hose to confirm it meets the standards of the National Fire Protection Association and the Insurance Service Office.
