Elizabeth Township firefighters complete CPR, AED training

ELIZABETH TOWNSHIP, Pa. (Tuesday, Sept. 16) — Seven members of the Elizabeth Township Fire Department renewed their CPR and AED certifications during an in-house training session, officials said.
The training, held in line with American Heart Association guidelines, is completed every two years to ensure responders remain current. The department said courses are offered throughout the year.
Fire officials said the effort is part of ongoing work to keep volunteers prepared to respond when emergencies occur.
