Water main break floods homes in South Park Township

SOUTH PARK TWP., Pa. (Saturday, Sept. 20) — Firefighters responded early Saturday to a water main break at Connor Road and Maple Drive, assisting with traffic control and pumping water from homes, officials said.
Broughton Volunteer Fire Department’s Rescue 270 operated at the scene, while the water company secured the leak. Units cleared shortly afterward. South Park Township police also assisted.
