Broughton firefighters join South Park community day

SOUTH PARK TWP., Pa. (Saturday, Sept. 20) — The Broughton Volunteer Fire Department welcomed visitors during South Park Township’s Community Day on Saturday, offering a chance for families to meet firefighters and take part in activities.
Children cooled off in the “battle of the barrel” challenge, while community members stopped by the fire company’s booth to show support.
Fire officials thanked residents for turning out and said they looked forward to returning for next year’s celebration.
