The East Greenwich Fire Department, along with the Gibbstown Volunteer Fire Company, Paulsboro Volunteer Fire Department, West Deptford Fire Department, and Logan Township Fire Department, responded to a reported dwelling fire.

Upon arrival, crews found fire showing on Division 2 of the Delta side, with the status of occupants initially unknown. Firefighters launched an aggressive interior attack on a room-and-contents fire with extension. All searches were negative for occupants, and three animals were safely removed from the home.

Several additional mutual aid departments assisted at the scene. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
