WILDWOOD, N.J. (Sept. 17, 2025) — Jefferson Township Fire Company #2 joined departments from across New Jersey last weekend for the annual State Firemen’s Association convention and related events.

The gathering included a memorial service for fallen firefighters and the annual New Jersey Fire Expo parade along New Jersey Avenue, hosted by the Five Mile Beach Volunteer Firemen’s Association.

Jefferson Township members honored their own firefighters during the parade, entering Utility 716 and wearing a new Class Beach Uniform.

Fire officials said the convention weekend provides both formal business sessions and opportunities to strengthen bonds among members and families.
