Lisbon Firefighters Extinguished Route 138 Vehicle Fire

Lisbon, CT — September 8 — On Tuesday, September 8, around 7 p.m., the Lisbon Fire Department was called to a reported vehicle fire on Route 138.Lisbon Engine 154 arrived at the scene shortly after the call was received and discovered an active fire in the vehicle’s engine compartment. Department personnel were already at the station when the call came in, which allowed for a swift response.
Firefighters used a handline to put out the fire, and the incident was contained to the vehicle.
No injuries were reported during the incident.
The Lisbon Fire Marshals were assigned to investigate the cause and origin of the fire.
