At 9:05 p.m. in the night of 30 August, Ramsey Fire and Rescue were dispatched to Cambridge Heights following reports of a fire near the clubhouse. Upon arrival, crews confirmed active flames in adjacent sheds and requested a working fire assignment.
Mahwah Companies 1 and 2 responded to the scene to provide additional support. Firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control, and Bergen County Hazmat was called in as a precaution.
All units cleared the scene after approximately two hours. Ramsey Fire and Rescue expressed gratitude to the mutual aid companies for their assistance and coverage during the incident.
