The Ramsey Fire Dept. responded to a residence where smoke was reported throughout the home. The source was traced to an oven issue, which firefighters checked before ventilating the property. Units cleared the scene within an hour.

This incident marked the department’s third call of the day. Earlier, firefighters handled an activated alarm and a burned electrical connection on an air conditioner.
