Early-Morning Structure Fire in Asbury Park Quickly Contained

ASBURY PARK, NJ - It was 6:00 A.M. in the morning when Wanamassa Fire Company was requested into Asbury Park for a structure fire. Engine 73 and Chief 68 responded, establishing a secondary water supply and stretching a second hand line to Division 1 for fire suppression operations. The first-arriving Asbury Park Fire Department units made a quick and effective knockdown, bringing the fire under control. Battalion Chief 8368 served as the incident commander. Assisting on scene were Asbury Park Professional Firefighters Local 384, Neptune FD, Long Branch Professional Firefighters, and Deal Fire Department.
