December 8, 2025 — Garfield Fire Company 5 held its annual company elections over the weekend, selecting officers who will serve during the 2026 term.

Elected company officers include Assistant Chief Chris Polonkay, Captain Kenjy Jara, 1st Lieutenant Mike Marsh, 2nd Lieutenant Alan Tani, and Chief Engineer Ron Polonkay. Company leadership positions were also filled with Brandon Reczkowski elected President, Bob Marcoux as Vice President, Eddie Kovach as Treasurer, Pat Connolly as Recording Secretary, Ray Rovach as Corresponding Secretary, and Brendan Carroll as Sergeant at Arms.

Company 5 congratulated all newly elected officers and thanked its members for participating in the election process and continuing their commitment to the department.
