On Saturday, September 6th, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., the Oakland Fire Department welcomes community members to Station 10, located at 172 Santa Clara Ave, Oakland, CA 94610, for a special open house event.

Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the firefighters who serve the district, explore the firehouse, and get an up-close look at the rigs and gear used in daily operations.

The department is especially proud to celebrate having all firehouses fully staffed and open once again. During the event, Chief Covington and OFD leadership will share key accomplishments from the past year and emphasize vital safety practices, including creating defensible space, knowing evacuation routes, and signing up for AC Alert notifications.
