Chester Fire Responded to Early-Morning Crash

September 13, 2025 — At 1:18 a.m. Saturday, the Chester Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident involving a vehicle that struck a telephone pole on Route 10 near Davidson Hill Road.
Chester Fire members responded directly to the scene along with Chester Ambulance Service A1. Upon arrival, it was determined that no fire apparatus was needed.
The scene was later turned over to Green Mountain Power, and all Chester units cleared without further incident.
