Audubon Engine 1 Responds to Haddon Heights Dwelling Fire

August 25, 2026 — Haddon Heights, New Jersey: On Tuesday, Engine 1 of the Audubon Fire Department arrived at a residential fire on Oak Avenue in Haddon Heights and helped the responding crews.


The fire at a house at 1508 Oak Avenue was reported at around 11:44 a.m. Firefighters discovered that the one-story house was emitting smoke and that the fire was spreading from the back of the house into the attic.


While firemen tried to contain the fire, crews stretched handlines, set up a water supply, and performed roof ventilation. According to reports, the fire was put out in less than 20 minutes.


According to reports, one occupant received treatment for a minor burn injury.


Haddon Heights and other nearby villages frequently get fire, rescue, and emergency medical services from the Audubon Fire Department.
