Watch Hill Fire Congratulates Westerly’s New Assistant Chief

September 2, 2025 — The Watch Hill Fire Department extended its congratulations to Assistant Chief Ed Haik of the Westerly Fire Department, who was formally pinned to his new position as 3rd Assistant Chief during a ceremony tonight.
Watch Hill Fire Department’s Chiefs Reall and Koretski, along with several WHFD members, attended the event to show their support.
“WHFD shares a strong working relationship with our neighbors in Westerly and looks forward to continuing to work with AC Haik in his new role,” the department said.
WHFD also expressed its appreciation to recently retired Assistant Chief Trebisacci for his years of service and contributions to the Westerly Fire Department.
