Pasco County Fire Rescue Firefighters participated in a countywide three-day-long training with Bayflite 4. This helicopter is different from others currently used by air medical providers in the Tampa Bay Area.
Pasco County Firefighters trained with the flight crew from Bayflite 4 on emergency procedures, the new helicopter's capabilities, and how to assist in patient loading while working around the bell 407. The new Bayflite 4 requires Firefighters to interact with the aircraft during patient transports.
Thank you for everyone who participated in this training to save our patients' lives in Pasco County!
