September 4, 2025 — The Town of Canton has formally commenced construction on the Canton Fire & EMS Memorial Garden, a dedicated space honoring the service and sacrifice of the community’s firefighters, EMTs, and fire police.

This memorial garden is being established to recognize all who have faithfully served the Canton community, including those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Once completed, it will provide a solemn and peaceful place for residents, visitors, and department members to reflect on the proud history of fire and emergency medical services in Canton.

An official dedication ceremony is scheduled to take place in October. Additional details regarding the ceremony will be released in the coming weeks.
