August 19, 2025 — Goffstown Fire Department provided mutual aid to Weare Fire Department this morning for a four-alarm brush fire affecting 7 to 8 acres.
Goffstown responded with a crew, forestry unit, and UTV to assist in the effort, which began yesterday afternoon and now involves multiple regional fire departments.
At the same time, crews across the state are also responding to a separate brush fire in the Town of Washington, drawing additional resources.
Officials note that fire danger remains high and urge residents to delay any outdoor burning until conditions improve.
