Livonia F.D. 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony

LIVONIA, NY - On Saturday, September 11, Livonia firefighters held a remembrance ceremony to pay tribute to those lost in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The ceremony was held in front of the fire station, where a steel I- beam artifact from the World Trade Center stands as a permanent memorial to those lost on that day. Speakers at the event included retired Livingston County Emergency Management Coordinator Kevin Neidermaier, who responded to Ground Zero after the attack and Livingston County Sheriff Thomas Dougherty.
