FALL RIVER, MA - For the 24th year since the terrorist attacks on our country, the public gathered at the 9/11 memorial at Battleship Cove to honor the memory of those souls lost on that day. The ceremony included the ringing of a bell aboard one of the ships with the code for a LODD in the fire service. Public Safety officials and politicians gave brief remarks followed by a wreath laying and a 21 gun salute fired from the Battleship. White Doves were then released during the playing of Taps.
