NEWTOWN, Conn. (Sept. 6, 2025) — Members of the Hawleyville Volunteer Fire Company took part in the Fall Festival on Saturday, offering fire safety education and demonstrations for children and families.

Firefighters showcased their equipment, answered questions and spoke with community members about their work. Officials said the event was an opportunity to connect with residents, especially children interested in firefighting.
