Fast Knockdown: Lambertville Firefighters Douse Outbuilding Fire on Box 47-04

Lambertville, NJ - Fire crews worked seamlessly in a synchronized mutual aid effort to extinguish an early morning structure fire before it could endanger surrounding property.

The alert sounded at approximately 7:40 AM on September 9, dispatching Engine 17 from the City of Lambertville Fire District #1 on Fire Box 47-04 for a reported outbuilding fire in Hunterdon County. Engine 47 arrived first due to assess the scene and begin primary fire attack on the burning structure.

Engine 17 arrived shortly behind the first-due apparatus and immediately established a supply line, pumping vital reserve tank water directly to Engine 47. This seamless water supply connection allowed Engine 47's hose line crew to maintain uninterrupted suppression flow and quickly extinguish the blaze.

Once the fire was brought under control and overhaul was completed, the scene was turned over to the City of Lambertville Fire Marshal’s Office to conduct a standard investigation into the origin and cause of the fire.
