Commercial fire with Haz-Mat

Multiple counties responded mutual aid to a commercial structure fire in the town of Rushford at the corner of State Route 243 and Buffalo Street. Due to numerous chemicals stored at the business structure, the Allegany County Haz-Mat Team was dispatched to the scene along with Incident Response and Mitigation (IRM) out of Cuba. Agencies on location included Rushford Fire & Ambulance, Fillmore Fire & Ambulance, Belfast Fire & Ambulance, Houghton Fire & Ambulance, Centerville Fire, Oramel Fire, Wiscoy-Rossburg Fire, New Hudson Fire, Cuba Fire, Farmersville Fire, Arcade Fire, Lyndon Fire, Eagle Hose Company 1 out of Bliss, AL 51, District 2 FAST, DC 1 and DC 2, HM 3, WY 52 and the NYS Police. Multiple agencies also remained on standby in various locations throughout the region. No injuries were reported and the fire's cause is pending investigation
