Multi-Vehicle Crash on Garden State Parkway North: Clark Crews Work Scene With Multiple Injuries Reported

Clark, NJ - Clark Fire Department responded to the Garden State Parkway North for a three-vehicle motor vehicle accident involving multiple reported injuries, prompting a coordinated response from several emergency units operating in a busy highway corridor.


On 20 August in Union County, New Jersey, crews arrived to find a multi-vehicle collision with debris spread across travel lanes. Firefighters worked quickly to secure the scene, assess hazards, and begin coordinated operations to ensure patient access and roadway safety.


Responders operated alongside multiple agencies to stabilize the incident, manage traffic exposure risks, and clear debris from the roadway to prevent secondary collisions. Crews also supported scene control efforts while medical units attended to the injured.


The roadway was gradually cleared and secured following stabilization efforts, allowing normal traffic flow to resume once conditions were deemed safe.
