— August 27, 2026 — In order to provide emergency coverage for the Town of Burrillville on Thursday, East Putnam Fire Department Engine 479 was stationed at Pascoag Fire Department as local firemen continued to attend to a lengthy incident in another section of the town.

The East Putnam Fire Department reported the assignment at around 12:05 p.m.

As a resource for mutual aid, Engine 479 was stationed at the Pascoag station. While local crews were working at the continuing event, the agreement allowed emergency response coverage to continue in Burrillville.
