3 September 2025 – The Andover Volunteer Fire Department (AVFD) expressed gratitude to the neighboring departments that participated in a tanker shuttle exercise held the previous evening.
The drill provided firefighters the opportunity to practice moving water efficiently between sites, an essential skill for areas without hydrants. AVFD officials noted that exercises like these not only improve operational readiness but also strengthen mutual aid cooperation among local fire departments.
