The New London Fire Department (NLFD) expressed heartfelt concern for the students of Annunciation Catholic School, along with the responders and hospital personnel who were forced to face scenes no child or first responder should ever encounter.
Referring to the tragic mass shooting at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis, where a gunman opened fire through windows during start-of-year mass, resulting in the deaths of two young students and injuries to at least 17 others, most of them children.
NLFD’s post served as a somber reminder of the emotional weight such incidents carry, not only in Minneapolis but for all communities watching and ready to support where tragedy strikes.
