Friday, 5 September 2025 – The Lisbon Fire Department reported that Kimball Road was closed between Sullivan Road and the Canterbury town line after a tree came down across the roadway, bringing wires with it.

Motorists were advised to seek alternate routes while crews worked to address the situation. Eversource, the local electric utility provider, was notified to handle the downed wires and assist in restoring safe passage.

Officials reminded residents to avoid the area until the roadway is cleared and reopened.
