This morning, the Hanover Fire Department responded to the Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) for a hazardous materials incident involving a significant spill of ethylene glycol.

Our crews worked alongside facility staff, the Midwestern Hazmat Team, and the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NH DES) to contain and mitigate the hazard. Marine 1 was deployed on the river to ensure that none of the product had entered the waterway.
