Warner Robins Fire operate on multiple extrications

Warner Robins, Georgia; Prior to 830 pm on September 1st, Warner Robins Fire Department Engines 4 & 1 along with Safety & Chief was alerted with Houston Healthcare EMS for an accident at the intersection of Elberta Road and Ola Drive for a Nissan Altima was traveling westbound on Elberta when the vehicle collided with a Chevrolet Silverado. HC 911 center received multiple reports of the accident being series.

Engine 4 arrived with Police for WRPD & Centerville to find two vehicles in the roadway with entrapments. Crews immediately began deploying extrication tools and started the extensive extrication.

Air Medical was alerted but was down due to weather conditions in the area. Additional EMS units began arriving including Mutual Aid from Peach County EMS. Several patients were transported to Navicient in Macon. One female passed away too due to injuries sustained in the accident.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time to investigate the fatal accident
