Clarksville Crews Provided Mutual Aid at Bolivar Structure Fire

BOLIVAR, NY — August 29 — Clarksville Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. provided mutual aid during a structure fire that occurred on County Road 33 in Bolivar on Friday, August 29.According to information shared by the department, the incident involved a large garage. Clarksville sent Chief 50, Engine 2, and Rescue 6, with seven personnel responding to the call.


Clarksville firefighters supported Bolivar and other agencies during the fireground operations.

Once the situation was secured, Engine 2 was assigned to provide standby coverage at the Bolivar fire station. This action ensured local coverage was maintained while Bolivar personnel and equipment remained focused on the structure fire.


The report also noted that mutual aid was provided by fire companies from Allentown, Clarksville, Richburg, and Shinglehouse. The fire was brought under control, and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
