On Saturday September 2nd 2023 the Riverhead Raceway hosted a First Responder Night. The night honored Firefighters, Police Officers, Emergency Medical Technicians, and our armed forces as an appreciation night for there service. A lap/parade was done on the track before the races took place. The Suffolk County Police Department, New York Police Department, Riverhead Fire Department, North Sea Fire Department, Riverhead Volunteer Ambulance Company, Riverhead Police Department. local military vehicle group took part in the parade along side the Town of Riverhead participated in the lap.
