Greenville firefighters extinguish 18-wheeler fire on Harbor Front Road

GREENVILLE, N.Y. (Thursday, Aug. 21, 2025) — Firefighters in Greenville quickly knocked down an 18-wheeler fire Thursday after flames engulfed the cab and engine compartment, officials said.
Engine 4 was dispatched to Harbor Front Road, where crews arrived to find heavy fire showing from the semi. Firefighters deployed an attack line and had the blaze under control within minutes.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
