KISKATOM, N.Y. (Monday, Aug. 25, 2025) — Kiskatom firefighters trained Monday night on vehicle extrication techniques, cutting apart two cars with a variety of tools to simulate crash rescues, officials said.
The department said the exercise prepares members for the unpredictable nature of emergency calls, where crews must be ready to handle different accident scenarios.
“Gotta train to stay in the game,” the department noted in its statement.
