Tiverton, RI. Around 5:00 Pm. Friday evening August 29th. Tiverton Firefighters responded to 29 Blaisdell Avenue for a reported kitchen fire. On arrival firefighters had heavy fire showing from a two story wood frame dwelling. Command immediately called for a second alarm followed closely by a third alarm bringing in Mutual Aide to work and to cover empty stations. The neighboring City of Fall River sent a engine, a ladder, and the heavy rescue to assist in extinguishment.
