WINDSOR LOCKS, CT - On Monday, August 14th, the Windsor Locks Fire Department held a promotion ceremony to formally congratulate those promoted in June. During the ceremony, officers took an oath of office and then their badges were pinned to their dress uniforms by family members. John Donahue was promoted to Assistant Chief, Herbert Staiger III (Chip) was promoted to Deputy Chief and Joseph LaPierre III was promoted to Captain.
