Cardiff Volunteer Firefighters Respond to Vehicle Crash into Fusion Church

Monday, 25 August 2025, at 1:37 PM – Members of the Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company #1 were dispatched to the 6300 block of the Black Horse Pike after reports of a vehicle crashing into the Fusion Church building.

Rescue 1517 and Engine 1512 responded with crews. Upon arrival, firefighters found a pickup truck had struck the structure, causing visible damage to an exterior wall and impacting the building’s electrical boxes and power supply. Crews conducted a structural assessment and inspected the damaged electrical systems to ensure safety.

The incident was investigated by the Egg Harbor Township Police Department, and the response was led by Cardiff Lt. Will Danz, who served as incident commander.
