Evening Electrical Issue Contained on Progress Street

Riverside Fire Company was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire on the 200 block of Progress Street around 06:19 pm. Battalion Chief 2320 arrived first and observed no fire showing from the exterior.
Further investigation revealed burn marks on an electrical panel. Engine 7011, arriving as the first-due engine, confirmed there was no fire extension.
The situation was managed by units from Districts 70, 23, and 24. The fire marshal is continuing the investigation.
