Emergency crews responded to a one-car rollover in the Town of New Scotland in the evening on July 4th.
A call was dispatched to the area of 185 Beaver Dam Road for a rollover accident with a car in the ditch with the driver complaining of a laceration to the leg.
New Salem Fire, Albany County Sheriff’s Ambulance, Albany County Paramedics, Albany County Sheriff’s and New York State Police responded to the call around 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4th.
The driver of the car was able to self-extricate from the vehicle that was partially on its side, resting on tree branches off the road.
He was evaluated on scene by EMS and was placed into custody by New York State Police.
The fire department shut down one lane of travel while crews operated on the scene.
