This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

On August 2, 2022, Manchester Fire Department crews were dispatched to a report of a building fire on Beech Street. Crews had heavy fire and smoke showing from the rear of the building, along with powerlines down. A second and third alarm were quickly ordered, plus a special call for the city's remaining tower truck to the scene. Hampering firefighting efforts was extreme heat in the mid- to high-nineties. While mutual aid covered the city, the fire was knocked down and the building overhauled.
